As a Network of Excellence, EuroFIR is an instrument for tackling the issue of the fragmentation of food-related EU research. One of its main deliverables will be a strong foundation upon which future research can be structured, in the form of a high quality and comprehensive food composition databank incorporating new information on bioactive components of foods such as flavonoids.
Areas of Interest:
* Establishing Europe as world force in food composition databank systems.
